Hands-On with Nature: Learning the Art of Composting

Nurturing Young Environmentalists at Salwan Montessori School
As part of our eco-conscious initiative, our little learners were guided to collect dried leaves, save banana peels, and gather soil to create a compost pit within the school premises. Under the supervision of their teachers and the school counsellor, they discovered how natural waste can be reused to enrich the soil and support plant growth.
This hands-on experience not only deepened their respect for nature but also taught them the importance of sustainable waste management. A small step today, a greener planet tomorrow!
